Crime rates have risen dramatically in response to Vice President Biden's Gun Violence Committee recommendation to congress that the sale of firearms be banned to those currently on a killing spree. This pitch was faced with fierce opposition by the NRA along with other gun-rights advocates, upset that habitual pointless murder is going to become a more onerous task. Some also worry that self-defense may be more difficult if they are already in the process of terrorizing other people.
